We have had so many great experiences filming weddings at Nicollet Island Pavilion. The venue is in such a perfect location right on the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis overlooking the skyline with beautiful trees and landscaping on the property. The grounds have many perfect spots for portrait and scenery footage. Kristen and Alec’s fall wedding was a wonderful celebration on a chilly autumn day. We love when we have the opportunity to film intimate weddings. Whether it’s a family backyard celebration, a private dining experience at a restaurant, or a location that is not normally a wedding venue converted for the day, it’s always interesting and refreshing to see how people approach a small guest count wedding. We have filmed at The Depot many times over the last 12 years of filming weddings. Sarah & Danny’s wedding at the downtown Minneapolis venue was epic! The vendor team did such a great job making the venue look amazing and helping everything go smoothly on the day. It was such a fun, celebratory atmosphere. This summer has been filled with rainy days. Fortunately, very few of our wedding days have had much rain this year. Sarah & Nic’s wedding morning and afternoon was really stormy but they had such a great attitude about it. The staff quickly pivoted to host the ceremony under the tent and thankfully it cleared up later in the day for an epic first dance outside under big trees. We were brought on to film the launch event for Quincy Hall Event Center in NE Minneapolis when they opened in early 2020 and were recently hired once again to film a set of promotional videos for the event space. Quincy Hall is very well designed event center in Minneapolis with space to host any event, great staff, and convenient on location parking. We absolutely love filming there and can’t wait for our next project at Quincy Hall!
