We love backyard weddings! There is a simplicity and casualness to a wedding celebration that takes place in a family’s backyard that is so enjoyable. Annie & Michael’s family owns this beautiful piece of property on the Mississippi River just in between Minnesota and Wisconsin. The wedding ceremony took place on little strip of land that pokes out into the river. After a wonderful tent dance party, the evening ended with a private firework display! We are so excited to share this video with you! We had the opportunity to sit down with the couple that lived on Big Rock Creek Farm before it became the St. Croix Falls, WI wedding venue that it is today. It was so fun to hear their stories and put together this social media history video for the wedding venue! We filmed our first wedding at Big Rock Creek Weddings & Events earlier this summer in 2021 and can’t wait to film there again sometime soon! It is a beautiful barn venue in Wisconsin, about an hour from the Twin Cities.
