COVID has caused so many people to change their wedding plans in 2020. We have seen so many wedding videography clients adjust their plans and condense their wedding locations, number of guests, and schedules to fit the current circumstances. It’s been tough on everyone but interesting to see the adjustments everyone has made. We filmed at a client’s backyard this weekend in Prior Lake. The setting was beautiful. An intimate ceremony space with a small lake in the background, hardly a compromise. Here are a few photos from filming their wedding video this weekend.

We went on a bike ride downtown and stopped to grab a few aerial drone photos and video clips. The downtown Minneapolis skyline was looking so good at sunset. It feels so good to be back to filming weddings, even if they are are smaller and with some other COVID restrictions. We shot Allison and Bjorn’s wedding at Legacy Hill Farm this past weekend. There was a rain delay before the ceremony but the day was so fun! Legacy Hill Farm is such a beautiful wedding venue. There is nothing like a summer wedding on a farm! A year ago today, we filmed Katherine and Stuart’s beautiful wedding at Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata, MN. The country club has beautiful property and is a magical setting for a Minnesota summer wedding! Happy anniversary to Jenna & Michael! Last summer we filmed their amazing wedding at Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum in Milwaukee, WI. It was such a beautiful day. With a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan, unbelievable gardens, and amazing architecture, Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is unlike any other wedding venue in the midwest. We filmed a roll of super 8 film during their wedding day and it blended really well with the vibe of the wedding and elegant venue. Last week, we filmed a canoe lifestyle video on beautiful St. Croix River just outside of Stillwater, MN. The St. Croix River is breathtaking. The rocky cliffs, plentiful wildlife, and summer foliage creates such amazing scenery. Can’t wait to share the short video with everyone!
Last January, I took a solo road trip up the Pacific Coast Highway in California from Los Angeles to San Francisco. I had visited California dozens of times but never driven up the PCH. I was amazed at how beautiful the drive was. I stopped to surf at picturesque beaches, hike quiet trails in the mountains, and pulled off the road for breathtaking views. I shot a lot of super 8 footage along the way and put together this short travel montage video. I can’t wait for the opportunity to do the drive again.
Every year, we go on a road trip in Colorado with a bunch of friends to camp, hike, swim, and skate. It is one of our favorite weeks of the year, every year. Here is a short montage of the super 8 footage from the trip. Can’t wait for this year’s trip!

Happy anniversary to Jeneen and Mahmoud! We filmed their amazingly beautiful wedding at The Hutton House in 2019. It was a wonderful celebration on a clear spring day ending with a sparkler send off and releasing lanterns into the sky. We had such a good time filming Emily and Kyle’s beautiful winter wedding at The Woods Chapel in Orono, MN and Minneapolis Event Center at St. Anthony Main. Both The Woods Chapel and MEC are such great venues for a wedding. The Woods looks beautiful surrounded by snow filled trees in the winter and you can’t beat MEC location near the Stone Arch Bridge and St. Anthony Main area.
