Last weekend we shot a beautiful fall Wedding at Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, WI! It was our first time at Florian Gardens Conference Center in Eau Claire. The fall colors looked so good on camera and we had a blast with Emmarie and Carleton! Florian Gardens is an amazing venue that looks great on film, the property is really well landscaped. This weekend we filmed a beautiful wedding at Aria and Saint Olaf Catholic Church in Downtown Minneapolis, complete with a quick pit stop at Bde Maka Ska for some b-roll footage. The early September weather was perfect. We always enjoy a downtown Minneapolis wedding and can’t wait to share the highlights video with you!

There is nothing like summer on a lake in northern Minnesota. What a beautiful setting for a wedding!! Last weekend we shot at Cragun’s Resort on Gull Lake, in Brainerd, MN. We have filmed weddings on Gull Lake a few times, but never at Cragun’s. The ceremony space right at the water is amazing. We had beautiful overcast skies during the day that kept everyone cool (and made for great lighting for filming!) and ended the day with a beautiful sunset. Congrats to Autumn and Dakota!! This was the first wedding we filmed at Villa Bellezza in Pepin, WI. It is such a beautiful property! The epic courtyard transports you to Italy and the rows of grape vines are magical. We hope to film there again soon!

COVID has caused so many people to change their wedding plans in 2020. We have seen so many wedding videography clients adjust their plans and condense their wedding locations, number of guests, and schedules to fit the current circumstances. It’s been tough on everyone but interesting to see the adjustments everyone has made. We filmed at a client’s backyard this weekend in Prior Lake. The setting was beautiful. An intimate ceremony space with a small lake in the background, hardly a compromise. Here are a few photos from filming their wedding video this weekend.

We went on a bike ride downtown and stopped to grab a few aerial drone photos and video clips. The downtown Minneapolis skyline was looking so good at sunset. It feels so good to be back to filming weddings, even if they are are smaller and with some other COVID restrictions. We shot Allison and Bjorn’s wedding at Legacy Hill Farm this past weekend. There was a rain delay before the ceremony but the day was so fun! Legacy Hill Farm is such a beautiful wedding venue. There is nothing like a summer wedding on a farm! Can’t wait to edit the wedding highlights video and share it!

A year ago today, we filmed Katherine and Stuart’s beautiful wedding at Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata, MN. The country club has beautiful property and is a magical setting for a Minnesota summer wedding! Katherine, Stuart, and their guests were so fun to hang out with all day, we really miss attending weddings right now. We can’t wait to film our next wedding at Woodhill!
